Releasing today (February 2, 2010), Air Bud: Golden Receiver Special Edition is Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment's latest Buddy release. If you love Disney, dogs, adventure
and football then this is one dvd you need to pick up.

I have to admit, this isn't really up Bunny girl's ally but she loves dogs and if you see Buddy in action you just have to love every bit of him!

This 90 minute dvd has all the Disney 'masala' you need.....Josh, the pre-teen in question, feels a little low when Mom meets a potential new Dad and as a result throws himself into a new game. His once 'hoop dunking' pet Buddy (This was our first Buddy movie so we were amazed to see him shoot those baskets!) learns how to ace football quicker than half the existing members of the consistently losing school team and soon becomes a part of the team along with Josh.

Not everything sails smoothly in a Disney family movie...we do need a bunch of 'bad guys' right? Well the 'bad guys' here are a plotting pair of animal-nappers who scheme to 'dognap' Buddy to star in their Russian circus.

What follows is a lot of excitement, tons of football and the birth of 'new family love'.
