CLOSED: 'Kaboost' your child! (R&G)

Sometime last month, I'd asked Bunny girl what her favorite meal of the day was. I was confident she'd reply breakfast only because she'd get to watch Playhouse Disney and enjoy yummy waffles, hot pancakes or crunchy cereal. Surprisingly she replied Dinner. Her reason for choice being "We can all eat together like a big happy family" .... needless to say I was humbled to silence!

Our little ones are very perceptive and the things we think may not mean a great deal to them, may actually be the world to them. Eating a meal together is one such factor and it has also been proven that families that spend eating atleast one meal together have stronger bonds, better communication ties and a great time being with each other!

Now comes the 'money crunch' time.....so how do you get your little one to be an active participant at the dinner table through his/her growing years with all those 'Ages and Stages' highchairs and booster seats?....Expensive, right?

Well thanks to Kaboost, your solution is only 37.95 US$ away!

What in the world is a Kaboost?

Your days of watching your little one struggle on cushions atop the dining chair are over! A Kaboost is a portable chair booster that raises the height of your dining chair in just a matter of minutes.

This easy to carry along, 3.5 lb foldable contraption can be pulled to fit round or square 4 legged chairs that have a diagonal leg distance between 19.5-30 inches.

I would strongly recommend using your Kaboost on non collapsible chairs as I just feel it's a more secure and safer alternative. We tried our Kaboost on both a chair that folds and a sturdy, non collapsible one and found that Bunny girl also felt more confident seated on the latter, perched on top of her Kaboost.

The Kaboost has a spring mechanism that facilitates adjusting the height to suit the child concerned. It can be adjusted to a height of 3.75" or 4.5" and can hold a maximum weight of 300 lbs.

This handy invention is recommended for children as young as 20 months old to children as old as 6 years in age. It has been TUV tested and approved to ensure we receive a product safe for use.

I'm so glad we have the happy, green Kaboost at home....I think Bunny girl is the happiest as her days of 'dual cushion balancing' are over!!

(Note: The Kaboost has won over 10 parenting awards.)

  1. My family usually sits in different rooms to eat so when we actually sit down together to eat a meal it is wonderful. I enjoy just sitting with all the family together and talking about the events of the day and the events to come.

  3. I could really use one of these for my 4 yr old!
    Great invention.
We like to play what we call "scenario" at dinner. It's kind of a "what would you do if... would you rather have A or B, If you were an X what would you XYZ" kinda game. Hope that made sense, lol!

  10. About the only time we sit at the same table is when we go out to eat. Otherwise it is separate rooms. When we do eat together, we catch up on life.

  31. What I love about mealtimes is when my whole family is together for meals... with two teenagers and a husband who travels a lot for work - meals are THE time for us to find out about their days and what's going on in their lives. We never have the TV on during meals and no phones. (...and I love it when they go back for seconds :D).

  65. My husband comes home after my kids are in bed during the week but on the weekends we all look forward to family meals. My kids can't wait to tell their dad about their week and my husband reads a short story with a lesson to be learned and we discuss it. My kids also eat better when we're all together.

  67. We say a meal blessing at dinner (and lunch too, if we're all eating together) where we hold hands and thank all beings who helped bring the food to our table. My toddler looks forward to this prayer, and is beginning to say parts of it with us.

  69. I love family meal time too. Our family is unique because instead of speaking our dinner prayer, we have always SUNG one of two different prayer songs. Our friends love eating dinner with us because their kids love to hear us sing our songs. This chair would be VERY helpful for my five year old who has a very hard time sitting up to the table but is too big for traditional boosters.

  70. My little boy is almost 20 months so my favorite part about meal time is how he always folds his arms to say a prayer on the food before we even ask him to...he's usually reminding us!
