CLOSED:The One Year 'Devotions for Preschoolers 2' (R&G)

I love devotionals and was excited to learn that Tyndale had a January 2010 release which was just right for Bunny girl. It's a lovely collection by Carla Barnhill titled The One Year 'Devotions for Preschoolers 2'.

The daily devotions are simple and clearly outlined for a young child to understand. It helps teach little ones the difference between right and wrong and assure them of God's comforting Presence in their lives. I love the devotions that particularly deal with a child's position in Christ-this is beautifully explained, encouraging and easily understandable.

The devotions are illustrated by Elena Kucharik. I love Elena's art, this isn't the first time I've come across her work. She captures the gist of each day's devotion in a precious way. For instance, for the February 13th devotion titled "Have No Fear!', she has an apt little picture of 2 little girls- the older one's helping the younger one develop a balance on her bicycle minus the training wheels. Precious!

I have this book all wrapped up and placed under the tree to give Bunny girl along with her other Christmas gifts. Christian books are such an investment and we've always tried to bless her with a special book each Christmas and this year, without a doubt, it's this one!

The One Year 'Devotions for Preschoolers 2' book is a 384 paged hardcover book that will be released in January 2010 and retails for 14.99 US$. (Check the links on the left hand side of the page to find an online retailer or a store near you, from which you can buy this book.)
Amazon has this on sale for 10.79 US$....definitely a worthwhile buy for the little ones you know.
