CLOSED:Expo Markers (Festive R&G)

This Christmas if you want to give your child's teacher a practical gift, you really should take a look at the products Expo offers?

Expo has a simple shout out...." it's time to graduate from paper to boards" and to aid in that progression, they have a variety of affordable products to help make life for a teacher much easier yet at the same time ensure these products are 'as expressive as the people who use them'!

(Note: These products may be used in classrooms, offices and at home...as long as you have a white board)

Expo's low odor dry erase chisel tip markers are any user's choice over some of those other dry erase markers that are effective but have such a strong odor that you walk away after a session with a splitting headache!
  • The specially formulated, alcohol based ink has a subtle odor and is quick drying on the board.
  • You can use this on whiteboards, glass and most non porous surfaces
  • This is AP certified as non toxic
  • Average retail price is 20 US$

Expo 'Click' are dry erase, retractable markers with a fine point tip. They come with a unique safety seal valve that prevents marker dry out. (and we know how often than happens!)
  • Can be used on white boards, glass and most non porous surfaces
  • Uses low odor ink
  • This is AP certified as non toxic
  • Average retail price is 5 US$ for a pack of 3 (black, red and blue ink markers)

Expo's Vis a Vis wet erase fine point markers are used for overhead projectors, transparencies and laminated wall planners. Ink flow is smooth even under an overhead projector's strong lamp heat/glare. I still remember making presentations in college and having my marker give up on me, simply because the pen would not cooperate under 'intense heat' situations....I just wish I had a Vis a Vis then!
  • Ink can be erased with a damp cloth or tissue
  • Average retail price is 9 US$

Expo Bright Sticks are wet erase, what I call, 'happy' markers! The packs comes in fluorescent yellow, pink, green, blue and white. They come complete with bullet tips to enable precision writing and smudging issues are reduced to a bare minimum.
  • Can be used on black marker boards, fluorescent light boards, white boards and glass.
  • Ink can be erased with a damp cloth or tissue
  • This is AP certified as non toxic
  • Average retail price is 19 US$

Expo's replaceable pad dry eraser has a precision point that ensure you can earse small bits of information as against as large area on the white board.
  • The eraseable pad is an 8 layer felt pad that need not be removed completely each time the surface is ink filled. All you need to do is peel off the top layer and continue using the eraser till the next layer is dirty.
  • Comes with a docking station that can be attached to the white board, making accesibility for use much easier
  • Average retail price is 5 US$
Expo's microfiber dry erase board cleaning cloth is used to clean whiteboards. Easy to use but quick to get soiled. I personally prefer the replaceable pad dry eraser as the hassle involved is less, in terms of cleaning the eraser plus they're both sold at an average retail price of 5 US $

So there you have it, 6 practical gifts for anyone in the teaching profession or even for someone in the business industry who has to make a number of sales/marketing presentations.

  14. I would love to win them for myself. I am teaching math at a homeschool co-op and have to purchase the markers for myself. I love Expo markers because they last, and are of great quality. It would be wonderful to be able to save money on this item. I would also share them with some of the other tutors in the co-op.
