Poloppo (Festive R&G)

Poloppo is one company that's on my 'Loves' list. Why? Simply because they have a simple but profound mission- 'encourage creativity in children everywhere'. I love that.

Here's what the word 'Poloppo' means
"A magical place, created and existing in the minds of all children. It is a safe place to explore, create and invent with unrestrained imagination for the future world that children will inherit and inhabit. The word Poloppo is without pre-existing meaning. Now how neat is that?

I've mentioned in several posts that we have a little artist in our home. Her drawing board (one of those draw-erase ones)is on the coffee table in the living room as she needs to draw morning,noon and night! So obviously when we were sent the T-me! DYO T-shirt kit someone had a field day with the paper and art supplies!!

We did shapes, people, squiggles and animals but each sheet would get either a spot or a stain or Bunny girl would decide that she didn't want the specific art on her T-shirt.

After over a long month of patiently waiting for Bunny girl to draw something and give me the thumbs up....we finally got 'a Bunny girl approved' masterpiece.....a picture of our family! (Which I personally feel was definitely worth that long wait!) With the masterpiece in hand, all I needed to do next was fill in the details on the form, have Bunny girl pick her T-shirt color of choice, tick the right size and pop in all the forms and the art into the envelope and post it out.

I honestly don't remember how long it took, but I do know it was less than 2 weeks from the date I posted the envelope that Bunny girl received a package in her name. The look on her face was priceless when she saw her work of art on the T-shirt

....she was so proud of the work and shy at the same time! We were thrilled!!

• Square white sheets of paper (we ran out of the sheets they sent us so I just cut regular white paper up into the same size-thanks Cherie for letting me know we could do that!)
• 10 mini markers (you can also use crayons if your child is more comfortable with using crayons. Bunny girl used a black marker for the people and I drew her a heart that she filled in with red crayon...both look great on the shirt.)
