Did you know that ....- 76% of the population does not get enough vitamin D into their body systems?
- 72% of the population does not get the required amount of calcium in their diets?
- There is only 1 brand of yogurt that is rich in calcium AND vitamin D? I didn't! Yoplait yogurt is that only brand!
Ok so it has vitamin D...what's so big about that?
Did you know that you need vitamin D to help your body absorb the calcium you intake, to build and maintain strong and healthy bones?
People till the age of 50 need to absorb a minimum of 200 units of Vitamin D while people between the age of 51-70 require 400 units and above the age of 70, need atleast 600 units. Now if you have a cup of Yoplait yogurt you get 10-20% of your required units in that 1 cup, now isn't that an easy way to down those units?
I am partial to a cup of strawberry flavored yogurt but if you have a palette that likes flavors with a little twist then you should try their blackberry pomegranate, orange creme, harvest peach, white chocolate raspberry or even their boysenberry flavors. (You have 24 flavors to choose from!) I personally have not tried these flavors because I still steer towards strawberry, strawberry and only strawberry! So there you have it- a yummy, healthy cold treat filled with the calcium and vitamin D you need!
All set to win a 'Get Strong & Healthy' gift bag?'
- A coupon for free Yoplait yogurt (Unfortunately this coupon is not valid outside the United States or within these States-ID, LA, ND, NJ, NV and TN but you can enter the contest to win the other goodies!)
- A neat exercise mat (getting the right amounts of calcium and vitamin D is not enough. Pair the two with exercise and you will have the right solution for 'strong & healthy' bones!
- A Yoplait carry bag to hold your mat and
- An autographed copy of Nancy O'Dell's new book 'Full Of Life' (Mom-To-Mom 'wish I knew when pregnant' tips!)

I LOVE this giveaway! I honestly am not very conscious about my families Vit. D and calcium intake. My kids get milk every morning with breakfast, and every evening with dinner. They usually have a yogurt after school for a snack. But now, thanks to your info, I will probably pay more attention. Thanks!
