If you have a Barney fan in the house who is also crazy about animals, then you need to rush down to your local store on September 15th 2009, to grab your copy of Barney's 'Jungle Friends' (The Movie). This upcoming release from Hit Entertainment and Lionsgate production, comes with a music cd with 5 songs from the 51 minute long movie.
'Jungle Friends' revolves around the theme of being kind to the Earth around us. The kids celebrate Earth Day and as always with a little imagination and Barney by their side, their adventure sets off with a bang. The kids visit the Rainforest and meet with Mother Nature, go in search of the rare Higgledy Piggledy tree and meet and interact with more than just a few animals. For an animal lover, this dvd is a treat with great clips of a variety of different animals. On the music front, the movie does not disappoint and though most of the songs are recognizable, there are one or two that are new, like the Earth song.
The dvd has bonus features that include Barney's safari match game, how to make animal puppets and how to grow your own garden.
Both Bunny girl and I enjoyed watching the movie together and the cd....don't ask! As soon as we received the dvd set for review from Andrea Blain Public Relations, I was asked to leave the cd in the car.For the next 5 days we listened to it non stop from the house to school and back...boy oh boy oh boy! (Thankfully we've taken a break now!)
The movie is a recommended must watch for all Barney fans, animal lovers and kiddies songs enthusiasts!

Our backyard is having a hard time growing grass in some areas so we used some of the clippings from our front yard (we have a mulcher on the mower) and sprinkled them in the areas in the back. Hopefully with the rain and humidity we'll get some grass growing. :)

We bring our canvas bags for every shopping trip so we don't ask for paper bags to save trees from being cut down nor do we ask for plastic bags that clog our landfills.

ReplyDeleteMine is don't throw stuff out of your car window. In the last few days I have seen it happen several times, and once it was a fast food bag. You know those smells are going to bring the animals out and put them and possibly drivers in danger, not to mention it's terrible for the Earth to litter. How hard is it to wait until you get home to throw something out, or even to pull over at a gas station and pitch it??? But I digress...
